So I have been pretty depressed lately. I might as well acknowledge it. It sucks. I have been ... well not exactly obsessing, but definitely spending a majority of my time thinking about the past. Thinking about mistakes I have made and paths which I chose to take. I can't say I really regret the things I have done throughout my life, because I would not be who I am today. I have been thinking about my childhood lately. Family. Everything really. I wish I could relive it. Not necessarily change anything. Just relive it. I have been listening to all the music I grew up with. Watching the videos on YouTube. I think part of the reason is that I have been visiting my grandmother a lot lately. My grandfather died a year and half ago. So she is alone. All her siblings passed away, and my family isn't very close (Not my immediate family of course, I'm talking about my extended family). I've been visiting her and watching all old home videos from when I was kid. Man it's fuckin' depressing. So many family members passed away. The easiest way to explain the way I feel really reminds me of Type O Negative's video "Everything Dies." I saw my neighbor from my old house the other day and it's funny but he feels the same exact way. I stopped and was talking to him thinking how age has not treated him well. Same goes for my dad. But anyway, I was wearing my leather jacket (which I often do when hanging out; I don't like wearing it to school, for example, because I don't like being associated with that rebel/metalhead fucked up teenager whose mommy didn't hold him enough persona that comes with it). lol. But anyway, he's asking me where I got it and he just starts talking about the good ol' days where my dad and him would throw these huge barbecues. And he kept going on about how he just want to relive everything. And that is exactly how I feel. I hate losing touch with people. I looked over my Livejournal entries the other day, and my god. I don't talk to about 75% of the people that I did say a year ago. I don't think I have changed all that much but I dunno. -sighs- I don't know. I have always hated change. Always. I assume it is a fear or phobia I have always have. On the other hand I love meeting new people. I really do. I hope I feel better soon. :(

P.S. Spring break sucks.

I really have nothing important to say or anything that really stands out which is why I very rarely update anymore. Well ... that and procrastination. Well spring break is here and I have yet to really enjoy it. Pretty much just doing shit here and there. Been listening to a lot of 90's dance music lately and reading up on some of the bands. Not sure why. No reason in particular. I grew up with the music so it really takes me back to my childhood. The 90's were fuckin' awesome. I wish I was older to have enjoyed and appreciated it more. I've also been playing the keyboard a lot more often lately. Part of the reason is that I might be joining a band. I've been talking with them and it seems pretty interesting. Music is a VERY important factor in my life and I've always wanted to be in a band since I was kid. There is something about being on stage and performing. The adrenaline rush is amazing. The closest I have been to that is DJ'ing or playing my keyboard when I was really young at like talent shows and what not. On another note, school has been pretty good. Doing fairly well. Um ... well that's pretty much it. Oh! We got the new equipment in the radio station, and had our floors done. We will be setting up during the break and I will finally be back on air. Hm ... yep. That's it.

So I woke up nice and early this morning. Took my nice long shower, got dressed, had breakfast, and packed up for school. I'm walking out of the house thinking to myself; "Man, I don't know how I'm gonna handle 8 hours of school with no breaks." And then I realize that somethings not right. Turns out my class does not start at 12:45, rather 2:45. So I curse aloud for several minutes and walk back home. I had no one to tell so I figured "Time for an Update."
On another note, I realized that I came off sounding like some sort of junkie or fiend in my last post. Those 2 weeks were very ... surreal. I loved it. In any case, I'm not a junkie and I don't do hardcore drugs, and I'm only a social drinker. Justified? Most likely not. I'm gonna go sleep.

So I usually have these random days where I decide to post, and I usually promise to update more, but we all know that not to be the case, so let's just skip all that bullshit. These past 2 weeks have been so surreal. I have been -hanging out- every single night and occasionally day. It's been really crazy. We have had this apartment (Adam's upstairs vacant apartment) for almost 2 years. It was a rarity to skip a weekend of fun there, unless one of us was away of course. Monday the apartment gets carpets and we will no longer be able to go there (unless of course we get really fucked up and set up a tent in there ... which I am NOT doubting will happen). lol. That apartment has had some amazing parties and I will really cherish these memories. Hah, look at me getting all emotional over an apartment. It's an end to an era. The past 2 months the apartment has been in the process of being renovated, so our constant migrations from room to room were quite frequent. We decided to salute the apartment yesterday with the party of all parties. I will remain vague in my detail ... mainly due to my vague recollection of last night. It was an amazing night full of happiness and euphoria, and I could not have imagined a better way to end this than yesterday's party. Surrounded by friends and family and good music. It was great. -sighs- I keep shaking my head every time I think about yesterday and these past 2 weeks. It's really been a crazy experience which I don't really have any complaints about. On another note, school has been good. Made some new friends (no one close as of yet) and things have really brightened up. I no longer work for Gotham Records, which is a shame because I really valued the experience. It opened my ears, and I have found myself frequently listening to more and more of the music I listened to high school (Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, and my personal favorite; Type O Negative -- New album out March 17, 2007). I have recently decided that I might want to get into Marketing, and will most likely go on to graduate school. I really don't have much else to say. I am really enjoying life and I really want a relationship now more than any other time in my life. I'm not all depressed over it, but I really would like to meet someone who I can talk to and be with and really enjoy life with. I've been thinking a lot about my future (as well as my past) lately. I have a come a long way and really quite evolved, in my opinion, over time, both mentally and physically. I have a much different outlook on life as of lately (not due to the alcohol or anything like that). Life gets better. And there is so much to look forward to. I really love my friends and family and am really happy with how my life has turned out thus far. I look forward to meeting new people, traveling, and having fun. Enjoy your long weekend everyone.

Hello,

Long time no see. I really don't like livejournal because I never have the time for it. I've been working like a dog for the past couple of months. Weekdays at the record label, and weekends with my dad. I'm going to be going to Germany so I figured I would leave you with something to amuse yourself with. It was a farewell BBQ for me, i.e. another excuse to drink, and lets just say i had A LOT to drink. I look like shit in the video so try not to cringe. And I should probably warn you that it is of graphic nature. This was my first time ever vomiting while intoxicated. Good Evening. Yes another update. Now about my day, lets see ... Well I went to my internship at Gotham Records. Since I started my internship, I am sad to say but I have begun an increasing tolerance for rock. I know, how depressing. Probably a shocker for those of you who know how close-minded I am when it comes to music. I wore a suit today and looked very sophisticated and suave. After this i'll go look at craigs list for missed connections. Tall, handsome, douche listening to ipod. Nice Suit. m4m. Yes everyone on craigs list is a homosexual male. Anyway, I'm doing promotions there and I really enjoy working there. My boss Patrick is a really nice guy. He's teaching me all about the music business and actually cares about my opinion on things. He also feeds me for free. We went to this cafe on the upper west side, not far from where he lives. Yep. Oh they told me not to wear a suit anymore. lol. They told me to dress normal. I'm not going to because I like dressing fancy and I get a lot of attention. Makes me feel special. Yeah ... So anyway, this post was obsolete if you haven't noticed yet, and my life is fairly boring unless I talk about embarassing things that happen to me. This is probably why I never update. Yes I know, I never update, blah blah blah. Well I am now so take a break from your daily masturbation session and pay attention to me. Well let's see. Hm ... Well Iggy and I did a table jam last Wednesday. That was a lot of fun. We literally got rid of ALL of our Metropolis Records fliers, and all the copies of Elektrozeit Volume II. I should probably talk about school and what not. Well I don't really like school. I mean, I do, I just don't like the courses I'm taking. Especially Media. I have like this old hag who's obviously such a bitch only because no one wants to fuck her. She probably hasn't had a good fucking in a better part of the century. Not that I have gotten any recently. :-\ I love playing a role in the radio station, though. I was promoted to assistant general manager, and now play a large role in making this station the best it could be. We are really working on the renovation. Budgets were submitted and waiting for approval, new equipment, painting soon, etc... I also began an internship at Gotham Records. I think Iggy did once, but he is by far lazier so it didn't really bother me.

Nope.

iPod. Well I'm currently listening to the new Covenant which might I add is really good. Reminds me of their old stuff.

Neither. I don't really like milk. In fact I kind of take medication for Calcium deficiency. I also take vitamins for B12 because I don't eat enough meat.

Yeah.

Our show Elektrozeit would like to welcome our newest member to our team ( making us a DJ trio ), DJ Replika.
